IN JSC “SBERBANK OF RUSSIA” A CENTRALIZED ACCOUNT AND ACCESS RIGHTS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WAS INTRODUCED

July 15, 2014, Kyiv. JSC “SBERBANK OF RUSSIA” announced successful operation of the system for the centralized management of the bank accounts of employees, built on the basis of IBM Security Identity Manager Solutions. The Account management system has passed the test period in 2013, is integrated with the IT-landscape and was put by the bank into commercial operation in December 2013. This project was implemented by the bank, together with experts of EGAR Technology Ukraine (DATAS Technology from 1 January 2015).

“The introduction of the centralized management of user rights and user accounts is an important element in the implementation of such a massive task as the introduction of the Role models, and ensuring of the implementation of the business functions of employees in the IT-systems. Role approach to the assignment of access rights allows us to implement flexible and dynamic rules of their recording, as well as the delineation of the performance of official duties of employees of the bank”, says Serhiy Adamenko, Deputy Chairman of the Board “SUBSIDIARY BANK OF SBERBANK RUSSIA.”

“We have standardized rules for the organization of access, as well as ensured their provision without participation of the end-systems administrators. Most of the operations connected to assignment of access rights for employees to information resources of the bank are automated. We have realized the seamless integrated process from the registration of the employee in the personnel system to provision of access to the front-office and other information resources of the bank used by employees.

The Technological platform of this project is the IBM Security Identity Manager solution. It is worth noting that our bank has pioneered the introduction of Identity Manager on IBM platform in Ukraine. Of course, the successful implementation of IBM Security Identity Manager is the result of accurate, well-organized work and the team of highly qualified specialists of the bank and experts of EGAR Technology Ukraine”, says Serhiy Adamenko.

“The main objective of the project was the integration of accounts lifecycle management system with available information resources of the bank, which in turn were presented by solutions from different vendors, commented Alexander Tsyrulnytskyi, commercial director of EGAR Technology Ukraine. The primary source of information about employees and activities for them in the bank is the personnel management system (SAP HR), it was connected to the IBM Security Identity Manager system as the first. Integration with SAP HR allowed to form guides concerning the staff, the organizational structure of the bank and to use them as reference data for other integrable systems.
Along with SAP HR, the new system is connected to a system of relationships with customers (Oracle Siebel CRM), SAP ERP, HP Service Desk, applications “Bank Operating day” (ABS B2), Internet banking (iFOBS), document management (DokS, DokBS) and card system (IS-Card).
The project also implemented SSO technology (Enterprise Single Sign-on) for users to access more than 20 applications.”
