EGAR TECHNOLOGY WILL BE A PARTNER OF THE INTERNATIONAL CHESS TOURNAMENT SBERBANK OPEN

EGAR Technology will become a partner of the International Chess Tournament Sberbank Open. The organized by JSC “Sberbank of Russia” tournament will be held in Kiev, on June 3-8, 2013.

Thanks to the initiative of Sberbank of Russia in Ukraine, the tournament will bring together players of all generations. This event will give us the opportunity to enjoy a virtuoso play of world-class grandmasters and may be see how the new stars will glitter in the world of chess. International Chess Tournament Sberbank Open is a unique sporting event for Ukraine. The program of this major chess event includes three tournaments – “A” (for top-level grandmasters), «B» (children’s open) and “C” (for the employees of Sberbank Group). Sberbank Open Tournament will be held in the main arena of Ukraine – NSC Olimpiyskiy. In the main super tournament “A” will participate ten of world stars – former world champions Anatoly Karpov (Russia) and Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria), two-time Olympic champion among the national team Pavlo Elyanov (Ukraine), the world champion in rapid chess Sergey Karyakin (Russia), a contender for the world crown, Peter Leko (Hungary), champions of their respective countries, and winners of many international tournaments Anton Korobov, Olexandr Areschenko (both – Ukraine), Evgeniy Tomashevskiy (Russia), Arkadij Naiditsch (Germany) and Sergei Zhigalko (Belarus). GMs will play in the rapid chess round robin (9 rounds).
